Mission
The mission of Griffin Center is to help children living in East St. Louis’ poverty stricken, violent public housing projects realize their potential by growing wings to soar above the prediction that
“kids like these aren’t going anywhere”
We provide wings in the form of:
- After school social recreation
- After school educational support
- Violence prevention training
- Advocacy for individual children and families in the school system, public aid system and specialized housing, social and health systems
